I interpret decisions in this instance as being synonymous with desires/goals/aspirations because a decision is what leads you to do something as Tony says. It's the decision that will lead you to action.

This is exactly what a goal does.
Once you have that aspiration, now it's time to fulfill it.

And many of us overlook the importance of wise decisions/desires.

"...it's enormously important, especially when we consider the enormity of the roles of our desires, aspirations and goals in our lives.

It's kinda like, that's it!

What you aspire for, apply yourself to, the intentions you follow; that's going to define the course of your life, isn't it?

Not whether it'll be successful or not, but the direction you take; that's going to be about your desires!

And so there are foolish desires, and there are wise desires.

Foolish desires are those that even if you fulfill them, they will not have a good outcome.

And wise desires are even if you don't fulfill them, at least you're going in the right direction!"

So be careful what you ask for (decide to do), you just might get it.
