Why is Square Root of Prime Irrational?

A quick proof that the square root of any prime is irrational.

I have an alternative way let p be the prime and sqrt(p) be the square root of p then first to make the proof of irrational number let z=1+sqrt(p) and therefore z^2-2z-1=0 solving for z we get z=2+1/z, z=2+1/2+1/2+1/.... hence it cannot be expressed in the form of p and q and therefore it is an irrational number! Anyways the video was amazing
