sqrt (-1) gives 'invalid input' on Windows calculator, , a TI-30XIIS gives 'syntax error', and Android calculator gives 'Keep it real'.

10:15 Alright, so you took the positive outcome for sqrt(4), but the negative outcome will always be there as well. If you say sqrt(-4) = sqrt(4•-1) = sqrt(4) • sqrt(-1), then, because of both the positive and negative outcomes being there, sqrt(4•-1) would be both 2•sqrt(-1) and -2•sqrt(-1). I guess we can't just just say: "Okay, we can't gain anything from using the negative, so lets just ignore it." They are both there, unless the squareroot itself defines what answer we're looking for. I believe there are notations like 'sqrt' (positive), '-sqrt' (negative) and '±sqrt' (positive AND negative).

My phone calculator says

"Keep it real"

So sqrt(-1) = I. But that's just shifting the problem, because what is I? "Oh, that's a complex number!" Well...should we be satisfied with that answer? At least hint at the purpose of this I.

"because it is by definition"

sqrt(9) is a particular value of the real-valued function sqrt(x). It is not a root of a quadratic equation! And since a real-valued function must(!) have one outcome, the only answer is 3, i.e. sqrt(9) = 3, and it is not -3.

Can I say I was right when I thought it was too complex?

What if i say it is indefined
Just like 1/0 is undefined

I swear its i, I have not seen full video yet

i is never sqrt(-1)! If it was then you would get something like the following 1 = sqrt(1) = sqrt((-1)(-1)) = sqrt(-1) * sqrt(-1) = i*i = i^2 = -1

so I found a video that knows what the sqr(-1) is and sqr(-1) = i

It's not a real number, it's imaginary.

Go rebuild a car engine, or build a computer, get a real job that pays money instead of trying to teach people that don't want to learn, and don't apply to everyday life. If you think mathematics is everything, then tell me which way the sparrow will fly in my yard in the morning. I can tell you, to the birdfeeder.
