This works for only perfect square numbers. Perfect square numbers are 4*4=16, 3*3=9, etc. So in exam pls use it only for perfect square number. Don’t use it for other numbers.

This is only true in certain cases. If you rely on it as a universal law, you will get a lot of wrong answers lol

Square root of 49=4+9=13-2=11 so that it is not applicable as perfect square.

(a + b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + b^2, where u break number down like 227 into a = 200 and b = 27. Then solve it
To break number down do distributive property
227^2 = 227 x 227
227 x 227 = (200 + 27) x (200 + 27)
Here is the a and b value:

a+b x a+b

Mam then ✓81 sould be 7 because 8+1=9 then 9-2=7.
This method is not applicable for every square root like 49, 100, 16, etc
