I love when people of all different backgrounds enjoy each others cooking instead of just gatekeeping. Love the authenticity of this video.

America is pure awesomeness! So many people with different cultures and different methods of cooking. Taco night is a family favorite in our house, and I will be adding these recipes into my cooking.

As a white guy whose had a bunch of Mexican friends when I was younger. Man did I eat good when I was over there. I love their food/culture! some of the nicest and hard working people you'll ever meet. There was a local barborshop near my house that I would go to and they'd cut my hair for free because I was 13 and poor. God bless 🙌

¡Gracias hermano! For Cinco de Mayo I did 3 types of tacos. Al pastor, pollo asado, and carne asada. I can never get the carne asada how it should be but thanks to you now I know! I do too much, it doesn’t need a marinade like Al pastor. Just good meat, good salsa, and good care.
Looks like I’m going to the carniceria again!

I had lived in Live Oak, FL, and my (then living) sweetie and I used to visit an Anglo friend of hers married to a Mexican. Anyway, they got visited on occasion by a taquero traveling in a white van whose wife had made corn tortillas by hand, and they made either carne asada de res or carne asada de puerco, with red sauce, chopped onions and chopped cilantro. They sold 'em 3 for $5. And those tacos were fantastic!

Thank you, Arnie, for teaching me so much about preparing the classic Mexican food I grew up eating in California. Arnie is so smooth that these recipes are a breeze to understand and prepare. My Mexican food game has skyrocketed dramatically and I owe it all to ArnieTex. Gracias, amigo.

Great video! Glad to see a chef not put so much pressure on the exactness of the technique, or the precise sourcing of the ingredients. I understand the importance of those aspects, but at the end of the day, as long as you enjoy what you cook, right?

Thanks Arnie! Will be sticking around your videos for a good long while!

Oh, Man, the griddle roasted veggies absolutely make the salsa. Medium cooked meat, perfect. This daddy loves plenty of salsa, (no raw onions for me, please) and Mom’s bonus sugar too. I add a little shredded cheese and avocado. it’s so good.
