can vouch for ball pythons! generally, they are just the chillest most sweetest lil dudes out there. I lucked out with mine. amazing eater and sweet personality! care isn’t too hard either for a beginner. occasionally you get some tricky or more feisty ones, but they can usually always be tamed down. ❤

if you consider 120 gallon enclosure as moderate space requirement then yeah beardies and bp’s are pretty awesome but in all honesty as a first pet who takes up little space cresteds are perfect for beginners

I agree on all of these except for bearded dragons because they are easy pets but they are quite pricey their inclosure because of how big it is is gonna cost a lot of money, and the bugs can get kinda expensive to.

I agree with everything expected a bearded dragon, why? because they do require a lot of space, expensive terrarium enrichment like heatlamps, they need high quality food and nutrient supplements that aren’t too cheap. Most are also pretty expensive and not cheap.

I think spotted pythons are better than ball pythons because they have almost as good temperament but are much better eaters

I also highly recommend getting a gargoyle gecko because they are much like the creste and prettier in my opinion

This is all wrong. Bearded dragons should have a LOT of space, and just because the others CAN live with a little space doesn’t mean they should.

Id personally suggest a northern blue tongue over a bearded dragon. Similar space requirements but much easier diet

Beardies aren’t the best option for beginners. Sadly most people dont do research and it has gotten to the point where I would say beardies are for experienced reptile keepers :/ it’s super sad how some reptile keepers treat these dudes
