Volvo S60 V70 XC70 S80 XC90 reset service reminder

After changing oil and filters in your Volvo S60, V70, XC70, S80 or XC90 you can reset service reminder yourself. You don't need diagnostic interface or expensive computer to do so. All you need to do is perform reset procedure and your Volvos maintenance reminder will be cleared.

For 2001 and up, with the key removed from the ignition, keep pressing the odometer button. Insert the key in ignition directly to POS II. When the yellow triangle appears and starts flashing, release the button then turn the ignition off. May help if the trip odometer is set to T1 (not sure if it's really needed).

You need to let go of the button as soon as the triangle starts flashing if you wait too long it doesn't work 2007 xc90
