I once lived in a complex, where a middle-aged man stood at the stairwell... as I walked in.
It was after midnight, and I had never seen a soul in that building ever at that hour, coming home from work late at night.

I was surprised, curious, and always watchful for my safety, as I tried to make eye contact. He was not having it, so I asked If I could help him.
PS I would've felt and acted in the very same manner, had it been any other person...at that hour, period.

He said 'Go on about your business, you're just being nosy, told me to move along, me and my white privilege. I was horrified.
My neighbor heard and poked her head out, and told the gentlemen to please wait at the lobby if he was waiting for a ride. She was familiar with him.

He then goaded us into calling the police. He kept saying to call the police.
What a nightmare.
In the end, we found out that he was the baby daddy of the girl upstairs, waiting for a ride, should've waited in the lobby, and was rude as hell.

Basically, the police said that it wasn't against the law to be a jerk.

I imagine the same thing applies in the workplace.

In the past, I've worked with some inexplicably rude ones, that were so full of themselves, raising their voices, yelling, pinpointing blame, swearing.
There was no shame in their game. Miserable wenches, really, and I don't kiss ass.
I will give several chances...for them to change my mind.

The best predictor of future behavior...is past behavior. Classless, and unprofessional...Gangsters, most likely on some type of psychiatric meds.

There is no such thing....as the No Asshole Rule...in the workplace.

Learn as much as you can...and just keep searching for a better working environment...with a better group of people.

They will reap what they sow...eventually!
