This is the kind of villain that says "bad morning" when they wake up

"We need to make this person evil."
"I have an idea, let's make them do something subtle yet readable that the viewers will pick up on."
"Subtle...?"

The ironic thing is: She’s one of the only characters that actually has personality. It might not be a likable personality to some people, but that’s better than none at all!

This thing needs a Ghost Stories level dub, THEN I would watch it.

Next she'll attempt to trip her and go, "oh no! Are you okay?"

Truly fucking evil.

At least the villain knows how to say oops when she makes a mess, unlike the creators.

“How not to write an antagonist” more like how not to make an animated TV series

Fun fact: the more you think about the logic of this scene, both from a physics and psychology perspective, the more brain cells you lose.

She's like a villain designed for a show that's for kids aged 3-4

Can't wait for Crunchyroll to claim this cartoon as "The anime that tops all anime" while hiding all the negative comments and pinning the "good" comments.

Story board pitch:
•The antagonist walks in and slowly looks around the room.
•After 5 seconds of panning for no reason, she spots an empty seat with a cup of tea.
*_Cue a ding sound effect and flashing lines around the teacup to ensure the audience understands that this is an empty seat and she has spotted it, this is crucial to the scene. Make it flash and ding multiple times_
• Have protagonist continue to sit motionless as antagonist slowly makes her way to the seat
•Antagonist reaches over before sitting down to knock tea onto protagonist's lap. *emphasize hand knocking tea over, make sure it's slow af*
•Protagonist says "huh? hey!"
•Antagonist says "OOooOPs"
Fin
*~standing ovation ensues~*
"We are DEFINITELY adding this to the story!"

She doesn't react at all to having a hot beverage spilled on her. She doesn't jump up or push the cup off of herself, she doesn't try to get the liquid off, she doesn't even seem upset. Just, like... mildly confused.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this show gets better when more alcohol is consumed

I swear six year olds could right a better story line AND character plot. At this point im fine with a princess stuck in a tower with an evil dragon.

You don't have to make your antagonist Thanos or Voldemort, the Lord of Destruction that threatens the multiverse. You can do an antagonist that works as a rivalry to the protagonist, that doesn't want to kill all their family or destroy the world. Still, this is somehow worse than the generic mean popular girl in your high school teen drama. That's impressive.
