The Cruelest Punishment of All Time!
Prometheus was a kind Titan who created humans by fashioning them from clay. He cared for Humans. The humans were cold and had no fire. So, he secretly went to Mount Olympus and stole fire, bringing it to Earth. This fire helped people stay warm, see at night, and cook their food. Zeus, the king of gods, got very angry at Prometheus for doing this. He decided to punish him badly. He ordered Kratos to capture Prometheus. Kratos then chained Prometheus to a big rock. Every day, an eagle would come and eat Prometheus's liver. The painful part was that his liver would grow back every night, and the eagle would return the next day to do it again. This terrible punishment went on for a long time. But one day, Hercules, a strong hero, found Prometheus. He felt sorry for him and decided to help. Hercules fought the eagle and broke the chains, freeing Prometheus. Zeus was furious, but he had no choice because Hercules was his son and a legendary hero. If you were Zeus what would you do?
