After seeing some of those punishments, I hope social services got involved.

Some of those "punishments" are at least one of torture, child abuse or child endangerment, or a combination of them. And that's not including those that could result in actually murdering their child (like the "locked outside in the snow", "making somebody with a peanut allergy eat peanut butter" or "burying alive" triumvirate).
