Tanjiro didn’t just watch the dance once, he clearly already started training in the dance, as there was one time he suggested to take over from his father since he was getting sicker and his father said he didn’t mind.

if tanjiro's father was alive or didnt have that disease imagine how powerful he would be, especially performing hinokami kagura from night to sunrise is quite amazing. just imagine him as a demon slayer and he even possessed the see through world

Yoriichi is so powerful but it seemed he always failed to protect people he cares about. His pregnant wife killed by a demon, his brother turned into demon and he failed to kill Muzan even though he clearly overpowered him. He is destined for greatness but all he got is failure.

Yoirichi ran away from home when he was a kid and met a girl named Uta and fell in love with her, soon after growing up, he married Uta and settled down in the same house that the Kamado family lives in... Uta was carrying their unborn child... One day Yoirichi went down the mountain to find a midwife but got late after finding a merchant in trouble... When Yoirichi reached home, he found Uta's body on the floor... It was a demon attack...
After that, Yoirichi came to know about the demon slayer corps and joined them... The Hashira at that time were already great without knowing any breathing technique, and after Yoirichi joined the corps, he taught everyone Sun Breathing... Some managed to learn it and some ended up unable to, so Yoirichi modified the Sun Breathing for those who couldn't learn it, thus giving rise to the other breathing techniques... Soon, Yoirichi went on a mission and found his brother who was a Samurai being attacked by demons and saved him... Then his brother also ran away from home, leaving his wife and children behind and joined the demon slayer corps... His brother couldn't master the Sun Breathing, so his modified technique was the Moon Breathing... Due to Yoirichi's training and everyone being near him, everyone started getting their own Demon Slayer Mark on their forehead too... But later on, those who had awakened their marks started dying at around the age of 25, so Yoirichi's brother got scared and became a demon to not die... Yoirichi once came across Muzan and Lady Tamayo and then Yoirichi gave Muzan a good beating... Finally chopping his head, but Muzan had 7 hearts and 5 brains so he wasn't that easy to kill, so Yoirichi dealt him a final blow with the 13th technique of Sword Breathing and Muzan fell to the ground... In a last attempt to survive, Muzan exploded himself into 1800 fragments, of which Yoirichi was able to chop down 1500 of them but the rest, the size of a head managed to escape... Lady Tamayo was sad coz Yoirichi wasn't able to destroy Muzan and then she promised Yoirichi to work together and she was spared... Later on, Yoirichi was kicked from the Demon Slayer Corps as he was unable to bring Muzan to an end... Yoirichi left the demon slayer corps and went back to the house that he and Uta lived in and found that it was already occupied by the Kamado family who were under attack by a demon... He saved them and then he became close to the Kamado family...
Yoirichi was actually a distant relative of Kamado family as Uta was related to the Kamado family and he was her husband

I like how Tanjiro isn't your run of the mill prodigy, rather a member of a family of unbelievably skilled swordsmen/breathing users.

Yoriichi when he Run away as a Child he Run all day and bight with no rest. That shows at a very young age Yoriichi already developed the Sun Breathing Properties, that if breath properly and proper precise techniques of executing the Forms the User will never feel tired or Pain.

I will say, rather than just learning it immediately in the Rui fight, Tanjiro would’ve actually spent years doing the Hinokami Kagura dance, learning it from his father then continuing to practice and use it to perform the Family tradition, he would’ve been practicing the Hinokami Kagura for longer than Water Breathing and be more adept at it.

Tanjiros father actually didn't have the ability to see into the transparent world until got really sick cause he stopped wasting movements cause of how sick he was. This was the lesson he told his son tanjiro, don't waste any movements

Here is a interesting theory:Why hasn't the most legendary form ever been named.What if name of the 13th form is Hinokami Kagura/Dance of the fire God itself.

Cause if u look at it's meaning Dance of the Fire God, it literally translates to the Master of Sun Breathing, dancing with Muzan till dawn.The name itself reveals its purpose.

Another key point to back this story up is after Sumiyoshi heard Yoriichi's backstory he made a promise to pass his technique (aka the method to kill Muzan) down to his descendents so that at some point his will shall be fulfilled.

Just a correction there 01:13, Kokushibo ( formerly known Michikatsu Tsugikuni) is not Yoriichi's younger brother, he is his older twin brother.

Yoriichi was a heavenly spirit sent to the human world to annihilate demons but unfortunately failed to do so.
While Tanjiro on the other hand was a normal kid who had to work very hard to fight on the same level as Yoriichi but was still far from perfect.

This difference is pretty inspirational for all of us.
