Absolutely the politics, for the main reason why my family and I are leaving the state of Minnesota. It's just way to unbearable to stick around any longer. Things are just not getting any better here, only worse.

Moved back here after 20 years from NJ and cannot wait to get back to the NJ nyx area. The weather is unbearable for 6 months, the food sucks, taxed are almost as high as NJ and property taxes are getting to be as high. We also have to pay for our streets! My neighbors were billed 8k. Bs .and the schools are not as good as NJ. I made a huge mistake in moving back here, .and lost a ton of money in the process. Oh and people aee not as nice as the reputation. They are more polite maybe, but passive-aggressive and nosey.

We moved from downtown Minni to Central/Southern Indiana and haven’t looked back! We pay under 2k/month and have a nice piece of land with an open concept home that backs up to a nature preserve. There are amazing private schools in the vicinity as well!

Used to like Minneapolis for 1) Mass transit & 2) Access to quality medical care. No longer dare take Mass transit & quality off medical care seems to be decreasing. Also one party rule. One party in charge of major cities & much of state for 40+ yrs leads to serious corruption & little hope for change.

There are many beautiful things in Minnesota. Politics ruined it. Born, raised, lived in MN all my life. My neighbors, community, and everything is better in WI. There's a pretension that IQ goes down when you move across the river: I think it's quite the smarter move.

MN does not sales tax food or clothing. That means Wi and MN sales tax are about even.

We are done in this state. The taxes keep climbing and they are spending it on things that don't matter to this state just call it north California.

I was trapped there for 8 years. It wasn't the weather, it was the people that made me leave. I've lived in several places in the US and still have friends from every place. Except Minnesota. Provincial, closed minded and geographically arrogant, it's the world's biggest small town. I'm not the only one that feels that way. The last time I went I couldn't believe how trashed it still was from the G. Floyd riots. Downtown used to be the only destination that was interesting, and now it's an absolute slum. I made the mistake of taking the public transportation system (full of freaks and ghetto trash) and got COVID for my trouble. Why are people leaving? It's a depressing, soul sucking, anti-social black hole that rejects newcomers.

What a bunch of bs. Lots of over exaggerations to fit his viewpoint. If your going to compare to Wisconsin you should think about Milwaukee not your little bubble in rural wisconsin. As far as "politics" go, Wisconsin is hardly a beacon of sanity. It just sounds like your a connoisseur of your own flatulence with an axe to grind
