Why are so many people leaving Canada?

You have likely seen videos on Youtube of Canadians who are planning to leave this country. These videos go viral and the comment sections are filled with Canadians who also are planning to leave this country. So why is this happening and is this normal? The data shows that we're seeing a spike in emigration at the same time as Canada's population is growing at a record pace due to mass immigration.

On the latest episode of Ratio'd, Harrison Faulkner crunches the numbers on emigration data to see if these videos are just for clicks or if they're speaking to a real and growing trend.

Also, YouTuber Adam Nucci who made a video about why he is planning to leave Canada joins the show to talk more about the issues facing Canada and why so many have becomed disillusioned with the state of our country.

My husband is a Sr. Officer in the Canadian military who has become increasingly disturbed by the neo-marxification of the military and Canada at large. One day after work he sat me down, clearly troubled by something that had happened, and explained we needed to establish what he called an 'exfil plan'. A short while later I found myself in Latin America filing for immigration, opening up foreign banks accounts and purchasing property. At the time, I didn't truly comprehend what was happening, and even thought he was over reacting, but I trust him. No one needs to convince me about what is happening anymore. It is pretty obvious and I am thankful I trusted my husband and his instincts. I do hope Canadians wake up before it's too late. Since returning from LA, my husband has assisted close to 100 families, both military and civilian to prepare for what is coming. So, the fact that Canadians are leaving in record numbers doesn't really surprise me, it certainly grieves my heart, but not nearly as much as it does my husband, a devout Christian man, who still believes in our country, is a staunch defender of Canada and it's values, but now fears the same values he stands for will cost him his career and persecution of our family in the very near term. So much so, he felt the need to establish an 'exfil plan' to protect our family from the same government he serves. It is dumbfounding and disturbing.

My wife and I left Canada in 2016 due to the Liberal governments views on its energy industry. We have an engineering firm in oil and gas, and after the rest of the world rebounded following oil price fallout in 2015, it was obvious that the Canadian government was not going to make it easy for the industry to succeed, and if we wanted to keep food on our tables, we needed to move to the US.
