Excellent summary! Same with 2 Chron 7:14. When I teach on such verses I point out that while the promise isn't made to us, the godly principle is. The principles which God requires of Isreal (ie: Micah 6:8) are the same that He requires of all of us. What God desires of Isreal, a humble and contrite heart, is the same desire that He has for us. So while many 'promises' were made solely to His chosen people, we can still receive blessings by living by the underlying principles. Would you agree?

Jesus Christ is our Hope! And unlike the poor Israelites we who are not disobedient receive the promised Holy Spirit which is our deposit of Hope and assurance that our salvation is sure. We have hope too in a new body in the afterlife with Christ ✌🏼🔥
