Thanks man!

Not to get yourself overwhelmed and take a little step each time, when you are learning Russian - these are very good tips. As for the grammar and speaking in learning Russian at the beginning, there must be a balance. Of course, speaking (communication) is more important, it's actually why most people are learning Russian - to be able to have a conversation with Russian friends or just people they meet in Russia. But as a teacher, I've seen so many students that didn't pay attention to grammar at first, and as a result they memorized some phrases, word combinations with some specific grammar, and then tried to apply it in other contexts, but it didn't work, because they didn't know the rule, and were doing it not right, so they just made mistakes all the time. The worst thing is that when you speak Russian with mistakes for a long time, you are so used making the same mistakes that 1. they sound natural to you, and you cannot see the mistake anymore, even if you try to control what you are saying, 2. it's so hard to correct these speech errors, when you are already used to speaking this way, because it's already an automatism, something you do unconsciously. I can definitely say that if you want to speak Russian beautifully and correctly, you have to pay attention to the grammar from the very beginning. But you should learn grammar step by step in meaningful contexts, and find a good teacher to put this grammar into practice in a conversation.

Hello Ari! I’m Sergey! 👋I’m from Russia and I also got carried away with learning English and created a channel for full immersion. I have been studying for more than a year, I have already shoveled a lot of advice and read books, and I have my own opinion how to learn language.
Good luck to you!!!

I totally agree, i have finished a course last year, and it’s all grammar with a very few conversation. Now i know grammar more than i can speak 🥲 so it’s useless. Looks like it’s time for vocabulary now, thank you!

I feel like this is true for all languages. Most schools have the totally wrong approach to languages in my opinion. You spend so much time studying grammar and conjugation rules and every little mistake get's pointed out to you that you just lose all motivation and are never really able to speak the language.

Thanks брат for your video.I have learn Russian almost 9 months.Im so regret because im mostly focusing the russian grammar along the 9 months.its make me thinking that this language so hard to learn. But after im realize yesterday that im a beginner and im actually should learn vocabs, i stop learn the grammar.😂I think its maybe because i want to master and fluent speaking in the russian language quickly without thinking that i need to learn vocabs first.Im sorry because i know that my english grammar so weak because im still learn it.I just want to share my little experience and i hope you understand what i have write 😁😁😁.i dont know why i learn it but Я люблю учить русский язык.🙇❤📖🇷🇺.спасибо.

The problem is that Russian is my major and I didn't even want it so I am forced to memorize all the 6 cases and Russian grammar itself is hard so I don't know what to do at this point

"Want to speak Russian so well that you get mistaken for a native speaker?" --- sorry, but with the accent and grammar as shown in the video you will NOT be mistaken for a native speaker :-) However, placing more emphasis on speaking rather than grammar makes perfect sense.

what im afraid of is to put all this effort and time memorizing the vocabulary just to get shut of later by the grammar that i find "IMPOSSIBLE!!" in the meantime and so all the vocabulary i have learned is nothing but filling place in my memory 😫

People! listen to this guy! he knows that he is talking about.
That is precisely how I taught myself Russian and English.
the dumbest way, or let us say. most ineffective way to learn a language. is to focust too much on grammar.
How do babies learn a language? by studying grammar? NO WAY
