A few months ago I was prescribed antidepressants after feeling suicidal for a long time but I haven’t started taking them. I quit my job that was contributing to so much of my negative mental health and have avoided alcohol completely for the last 6 months because I know it amplifies my emotions. I am trying hard to listen to myself and sit with my ‘bad’ feelings. Thanks for this video, it helps me feel validated when so many of my loved ones are frustrated that I won’t just start taking medication like they decided to.

Thank you for laying it out this way🙏🏻💙I have experienced A LOT in my 35 years, always eventually successfully navigating some very life crushing issues. But several broken relationships in the last few years have broken me down in a way I've never experienced before. I really appreciate your way of reminding me not to allow myself for be distracted from what I'm feeling, but to FULLY face it, feel it, and make different choices🙏🏻💙

For me I need more outdoors time, excercise and sunshine. I need to feel free from my family members, just get out and breathe regularly.

I'm focusing on finding the cause and treating my 7 year IBS... I'm only 21 and it got to a point that the nausea was so bad i cried in the mornings... what you say makes sense; listen to your symptoms.

This is valuable. I've had a lot of failed relationship and had to learn to force myself to feel the pain and listen to what I was being taught. It was brutal. It was excruciating. At times I was on my hands and knees screaming and punching the floor because it sucked so bad but on the other side, I'm healed. I'm not jaded and I now know how to protect myself. I'm single and not looking but I also am not scared of what the future holds. My work took about three years. It's not an overnight thing but it's so worth it. I too now teach people that they have to feel the pain. Good video.

One thing I've woken up to is: evaluating 🤔 is it pain or fatigue? I have osteoarthritis in my spine. So I used to treat either with a nap. Now I evaluate. If it's not fatigue, I find a comfy spot and do a "sit down job" like hand sewing. If it is fatigue, I put on a boring movie like "Sarah Plain and Tall". Sometimes it's 15 minutes and sometimes it's a couple of hours. I'm also better at answering thoughts of thirst and hunger, which I used to ignore, so that I can keep working. 100% true. Sometimes, you go to sleep because you're not ready to face it, the pain is just not great enough or the benefits still don't outweigh the cons. For me, I started healing after my friends slapped me in the face and told me I deserved better than the alternatives people are told are the only ones available around here cause the professionals wouldn't listen to me. Once I got to self-care and got a deeper understanding of everything with private therapists, I could take one more step outside and that's been a game changer ever since. Sometimes, society wants you to go back to sleep, so it's very hard to wake up unless you have people in your life who have drastically different experiences. I love my friends so much for that. <3

For me I need to start waking up earlier and not sleeping in so much to help heal my gut as it’s causing major depression

Today's world not ready to bear pain or tolerate sickness and give it enough time for self healing? They search pill for every I'll. If we can listen to bodies communication systems to us well we can live blissful. You have put it in beautiful vedio. Very nice
