Thanks for giving us the socket sizes and torque specs while performing the work. If you don't have an air impact driver, you can loosen/tighten the axel shaft nut (and lug nuts) while car is on the ground with chocked wheels. That way you won't risk bending or snapping off a lug bolt (or buggering up threads) using a pry bar to hold the disk rotor/wheel from spinning. Also loosening the lug nuts incrementally in a star pattern can prevent the brake disk from warping.

Great video! Question for you, what is the benefit of taking the lower control arm bolts off versus taking the strut bolts off and then rolling the rotor hub assembly out of the way to pull the axle out?

You did not mention or show it but I assume we stake the 30mm axle nut once torqued... Correct?

Is it common on this model for a CV shaft to go bad around 100, 000 miles with the 4wd setup. I have a leaking one on the driver side as well and could not see the tear In the boot. I going to do both sides as it's my wife's vehicle and we are expecting our first child and want to be safe.

I am doing struts, cvs, wheel hub assembly, brakes. I've done this components before, separately. Would you recommend starting with replacing the CV or strut first or does it really matter since I'm taking everything off?

Any advice for the rear? Is it the same procedure as front?...I'm stuck. Do I need to remove the knuckle?

I just had my transmission replaced with a rebuilt one and my CV axle is clicking and making noise, does the CV axle need to be replaced? Or is it a transmission issue? Please advise thank you, I'm just a girl with Questions 😊

So I guess a good combo when doing this would be to also change the ATF and filter too? Might as well if you’re gonna lose a little fluid and the trans pan is right there anyway. Just might have to do two jobs for this one lol
