Between a morning of engine maintenance and an afternoon of kiteboarding we lost one of our most important tools, ugh. Ponce actually had a really nice beach to launch a kite from and as long as I didn't fall on the shallow, hard, coraly, rocky bottom then kiteboarding was absolutely amazing in Ponce!

35 years ago I lost an envelope full of money. A gift from my Uncle intended for our honeymoon. It hurts me even now. I checked pockets and boxes and chairs and drawers for months So there is a huge benefit to knowing where your camera ended, even if you can't get it back.

Fantastic footage while on the sail board Billy! Sorry you lost that GoPro but the shots from the sail were awesome! I don't remember ever seeing you sailing from that angle either. You seem to have your engine maintenance down to a quick system and they are so easy to work after moving all of the woodwork. I guess I'm not used to how noisy diesel motors are because when you started it up there was much more valve clatter than I thought there should be. Of course when you are motoring somewhere all of the noise is deep in the hulls and must be muffled good. So glad you family was able to come down for a visit. Jetty was Very happy to see them all too! Love your pup!

The two of you always make me feel young again. I really like you guys. There are others doing sailing stuff, but not like you guys. You're so genuine. So smart. So competent. You're doing stuff hardly any people ever get to do. You do it all without any arrogant or ego trips. Your respect for each other keeps me watching.

I love your videos, and with the delay between the time you shoot them and when you have the time to edit and post them, I wish we could tell the date when you shot them. That way we could tell the conditions of the sea, and weather. Still, love your episodes.

Losing the GoPro7 is tough, but on the upside, they just announced the GoPro8, that has lots of extra features specifically for vloggers. This summer my kids lost our GoPro6 (while jumping off a cliff into a lake - it had a floaty handle, but it seemed not to float anymore, at least not in freshwater). I was just thinking about upgrading, when somebody found it, and got it back to us. So you never know...

Hate the camera loss and footage on it. The kite boarding portion was awesome. And poor excited Jetty falling in. Can’t get more real life on a boat than that. Great vid guys.

When you are idling your engine, if it's moving around a lot raise the revs to where it doesn't move around so much, that will be a whole lot better for the engine mount life, right through to stern gland. Every mechanical device has a resonance, avoiding the spot where resonance is worst is good practice, airplane propellers are less likely to fall off for example. Aligning the the engine to suit the prop coupling was a good thing to do, lots of benefits in that one.

Another GoPro Tip: I scuba dive and record every dive on my GoPro. I created a folder on the sim card that has all of my contact information in case I lose a GoPro diving and someone finds it. Someone will find your GoPro eventually and how cool for them to contact you in 1, 2, 10 years from now. As always great channel and keep up the great work.
