Показать описание
If you have Iron Deficiency Anemia it seems you are always instructed to take pills/supplements, infusions/transfusions, but very seldom is a proper human diet discussed. There are plants that contain lots of iron, but if you can't absorb this iron, then it doesn't fix the problem.

There is a kind of iron that all humans can readily absorb, it is the kind of iron humans have been absorbing for eons. This video will help you understand which sources of iron will actually fix your Iron Deficiency Anemia.

Doctors should be able to prescribe meat for you. "Take two ribeyes and call me in the morning".

I was unable to absorb Iron for years until a pharmacist pointed out that Iron requires vitamin C to be absorbed. Also she said to never drink Coffee within several hours of taking my vit C/iron therapy.

After trying her recommendation my blood tests turned completely around.

Also, Broccoli has both vit C & iron.

This was a very respectful and helpful video. As a pescatarian who has struggled with iron absorption all my life, I really really appreciate your considerate approach to people like myself who need help on this front. You're a wonderful man. Love and light to you.

Just got diagnosed with Iron deficient anemia. No wonder I’ve been tired. Dizzy with blurry vision. Restless legs. Grooves in my nails. Bruising easily. Etc. 🤦‍♀️.

This is so true! In Tibetan Buddhism it is desired - NOT required - that followers be vegetarian. If anyone, including the monks and nuns, requires meat or animal products for their genuine health needs, then they MUST eat those meats and animal products - they are required to look after their physical and mental needs, in order to look after themselves, and their families if they have them, and be able to do their religious practices (which often require physical and mental alertness and endurance).

I’ve been on Keto program for 12 weeks. Just had blood work. My numbers were great especially A1C which was 6.4 from 10.2. Also lost 36 lbs.
BUT my hemoglobin was a little low. SO glad you did a video on this!! I was just eating chicken and some beef. Adding seafood. I eat a bunch of eggs.

I’ve been vegetarian/vegan for 21 years and feeling awful awful awful lately. I was super craving meat and ate it for a couple weeks. Felt amazing. Then the guilt kicked in. I went to the doctor yesterday and I’m severely anemic. Terrible absorption too. heme-iron here I come. Thank you for this video.

My mother has been anemic since she was a teenager 70+ years ago. She had even had blood transfusions for it. I finally got her on Keto/Carnivore (Mostly), with lots of red meat. She had a follow up with her doc, and they said her iron was well into the normal range (It has always been low before). They told her to quit taking the supplements (which always cause her stomach issues) and they would check it again in 3 months.

This is the most respectful advice I have seen, as a non animal eater. I have been plagued with iron deficiency anemia all my life. Nothing has worked, but now I know why. I will try therapeutic additions to my diet. I can't thank you enough, because you have eased my heart and feelings that sometimes you must amend your eating to correct your health and wellness.

Thanks for the great video. I was drinking tea and unknowingly blocked 70% of iron absorption for years. I was drinking a gallon of tea per day and drinking it with all my meals. I have learned that coffee will also block 38% if the iron absorption if drank within 2 hours of meals. I still drink tea and coffee, but not within 2 hours before or after meals.

I had iron deficiency anemia since I was 10. 40 years later I learned that parasites use your iron to survive. So if you have anemia you should get checked for parasites using non traditional stool testing before supplementing as you would just be feeding the parasites. I had gotten bit by ticks frequently growing up. 6 days of Alinia and it’s now been 3 1/2 years since I had anemia without taking any supplements.

Vegan lifestyle came close to killing me. Tired but unable to sleep, gasping for breath and general weakness. It had gotten to the point that I was unable to stay conscious. Mid sentence or just walking would find me on the ground, luckily no concussions. A terrified trip to the emergency room, at the beginning of the Covid craze, 5 days in the hospital, countless probing tests and three blood transfusions later, I’m no longer a vegan but can sleep without ringing in my ears and run up flights of stairs without stopping or fainting. For reasons still unknown, my body could not tolerate a vegan diet.

anyway now I am carnivore for 2 years and do not have this problem anymore. I almost died before finding this diet. I thank Dr. Berry every day for being a straight up guy just selling the message and not trying to cash in fast by overselling this simple home based diet! thank you! Thank you!

Iron requires vit C as well as copper for absorption. My ferritin level was 5, and I have never felt as bad! Ever! I have given up coffee and tea since the tannins they contain interfere with iron absorption. I also take an iron supplement daily and am gradually feeling better. People with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (as I have) are prone to anemia interestingly. The dietary restrictions don’t help; and if one has a beef sensitivity, there is an added difficulty to get enough dietary iron. However, our bodies were made to heal themselves if given the correct assist. Don’t get discouraged!

I wish you would do a video on heme vs non-heme iron and ferritin levels. Thanks for ALL of your videos!
