I am in the SAME exact boat as you! I was a vegan for almost 9 years and a vegetarian before that, but my PCOS has led me to incorporate the same things as you! As someone who struggled with the same idea that I would be judged in my life, I'm thankful you came out with this, because if I can relate I'm sure there's a lot more of us! Heal those ovaries!!! Reproductive health is something that is so dismissed in our society, and people and the world are finally coming around to speaking about it and trying to take care of it!

Hi Chey! I actually had to quit being vegan for Eating Disorder reasons. It was the HARDEST mental and physical shift I have ever had to go through, but one that has ultimately freed me, and made my thoughts and feelings around food so so different.
It is hard, but ultimately better for me and my mind and body.

You know within yourself what is best for you. And you just have to listen to this. Nothing else matters.
You are amazing and I look up to you as someone who has such a lovely healthy relationship and thoughtful practice around food.

Here for you! Love you! Proud of you!!

Cheyenne, I really admire your boldness to speak up and speak on hard and maybe personal topics! I’m here for all the different videos. For me it’s not so much the type of content you put out, it’s more the consistent videos. It’s you! You’re the type of friend I always wanted and it feels like I’m just watching my friend be herself on camera and deliver food quality without fail every time! Do what you love and what you enjoy! I’m here for it 🤍

not normally a commenter but i've watched your videos for a long time, was also vegan for 7-8 years, and also gave it up to manage my PCOS only a couple of years ago. at first i struggled to justify the change, but the difference in symptoms really is amazing and speaks for itself. pretty much everything you said resonated so much i got a little teary lol i'm really happy for you and hope you'll continue to share whatever brings you the most, as you said, fulfillment. congratulations on your new chapter, and thank you for sharing <3

You video was recommended by YouTube and I’m so glad I clicked on it. I also have PCOS and I feel like I’ve made it my life long mission to always manage my symptoms and listen to other women and their journey. PCOS girls really share a special bond because we can all relate on some level. Please don’t ever apologize or feel guilty for changing your lifestyle for the sake of your health. Your video was TRULY inspiring and I hope you will continue to make more PCOS content! Just subscribed 😊

Love this video, your positivity and your honesty! I am an acne girl with PCOS as well and I know the struggle of figuring out what to eat and what not… and to deal with the judgement and opinion of others. Keep moving on with your journey🥰 Greetings from germany!

I started watching you as a beginner vegan when you were still vegan. I only watch vegan what i eat in a days, or those from ex-vegans with a great personality. You are the latter! I am so glad for you that you could change your diet to help with your illness ❤ take care

I just started my PCOS journey less than a month ago and this video was very encouraging. I really hope to see an update on your journey, especially with accutane and how that went for you! (I'm 5 days into my course) I'm sure you're super busy but I really hope you don't feel discouraged by the time that has passed. I really hope everything is going great for you regardless 🤗

No judgement here! Pure support!🥰 I also had to quit being vegan due to my gut and hormonal issues. It was hard to deal with the feeling of guilt and also explain people why I shifted, but in the end, we have to listen to our body and put our well-being first☺

Girl, im so proud of you for finding what works for you! I use to be vegan too and felt so guilty when I began eating chicken, fish and eggs! I love veganism but for me it just wasn’t sustainable. I mainly focus on Whole Foods, plant based with about 20% of my diet being animal products, all while still incorporating and enjoying 100% full plant based meals. We’ve missed you so much on here and so ready for some new recipe ideas! 🫶🏾

This is my first video of yours and I feel seen! Thank you for sharing your tips on managing PCOS, I’ve been overweight all my life and could never understand why because I am SO active.
I recently finished grad school and understand the stress you are about to ensure but you can do it!
Just want to say thank you for sharing your PCOS journey. 💕✨

I’m not usually a commenter but I wanted to say I’ve had to grapple with the exact same issues and I feel you — trying to maintain a positive relationship with food and exercise while also trying to be a low carb vegan was just way too much and something had to give. I got my diagnosis 5 years ago just as I was heading into grad school too and it was a lot to grapple with. Thinking lots of positive thoughts for you as you navigate this new space and time — I’m really impressed to see how you’re handling things x
