Interesting. In British English, there is only one pronunciation of "offense" (although we spell it "offence"). But we have plenty of other examples of different pronunciation of the same spelling.

Ruben, this is very interesting, I have never seen accents explained this way. Your examples rely on English words, but for English speakers learning Spanish, its easy to see why this is something important and worth learning. After this video, do you have a follow up video where you outline the rules to explain agudas, llanas y esdrújulas using Spanish words?

I think you should try to explain it starting by the rule (agudas, llanas y esdrújulas), and then saying examples. To me it is confusing. But cool if some people understand it like this, every person is a world and has different ways of learning. Good luck with teaching our language :)

This is totally wrong... Why do you say that if a word ends with a vowel it has to be pronounced like that in Spanish? I think you should try to explain agudas, llanas y esdrújulas words.

No offense. But the word "offense" does not end with a vowel. It only ends with a silent vowel letter.
