This is perfect. I would always say él, tú, más like I was yelling bc I was so conscious of the accent mark 😂😂

Informative and straight to the point! Thank you! It is amazing how much Spanish has in common with English in terms of the idea of pronunciation and how one word pronounced differently means sth else or even pronounced the same way can have a double meaning (well the accent mark makes it different in Spanish; in Arabic, it depends on the context and the entire sentence). Language are impressive :)!

The orthographic accent (which would be a tilde for a vowel in Spanish) can mean stressing a syllable other than the usual for a word with more than one syllable or an indication of something more serious in a monosyllabic word or that an interrogatory word is being said in a question and not just an answer to a question someone would ask based on such a sentence (meaning the answer).

lol. I am mexican american, and have never been concerned with the accent. I am only now learning them because I have recently started to want to be articulate in spanish. haha.

So it means that there is only one kind of accent mark in Spanish which is á.. And these à ä â ã å etc. Are not use in Spanish?
But i have also seen año?

I feel like my last name should have an é at the end instead of an e. When many try to pronounce my last name it just never seems to be pronounced correctly. I was told by family members and data from a family tree that my last name originates from Spain. I never really had clarification on this. This video was super informative and helpful. The é I believe should be inserted rather then a simple e. 🤷🏻‍♀️🧐
Thank you.

Escalated quickly from English to Groins😅. Imagine you make a mistake and tell an older person... "Do you speak groins? "🤣
