Gonna save this recipe for bad times! So I got a retroactive raise this month, which means my month went pretty well. In addition to that, as the first of November is a public Holiday here, Payday this month was a bit earlier! I will be thinking of you, as I eat Potatoes and Sauerkraut with Pork Belly tonight.

Seeing that cabbage reminded me of my childhood and how my grandma and mom used to make a huge pot of swedish cabbage soup. A big bowl of cabbage soup and a slice of bread with mustard and christmas ham was some of the best food during the winters.
