If you think about it, Karen and Gretchen aren’t that mean, Karen it’s not mean at all, and Gretchen was a little spoiled but the only reason she betrayed Regina was bc she was treating her poorly and Cady took advantage of that and manipulated the situation making it worse, the real mean girls were Regina and Cady (Janis was just savage and badass tho )

People just overlook Janis’s mean side because she wasn’t the typical pretty, spoiled and popular girl. She was clearly problematic and manipulative when she told Cady she was in no positions to pass up friends and she also did not pronounce Cady’s name correctly. There is a reason why she was friends with Regina in middle school in the first place
