Cady attends her first day of public school and is not accustomed to the rules and norms that everyone else is familiar with.

This clip can be used to teach about conformity. Cady is in a new environment and needs to conform to the rules of the school. These rules include social and academic behaviors both inside and outside of the classroom.

Fun fact: the woman playing the German teacher also appears in an episode of the Canadian reality/competition television show Kenny vs Spenny. They do "humiliations" at the end of each episode and one of the guys has to make out with an old lady as his humiliation, and she's the old lady 😅 it's season 4 episode 4. It's pretty funny. She's super into it and he is most definitely not.

They missed a couple words for the German teacher though. Full Stay in your assigned seat is "Bleiben Sie auf ihrem zugewiesen Sitzplatz." So like bad german teaching for american students accurately shown as per usual but the german is totally wrong. 😂
