I'm a precal teacher. Today in class was an introduction to limits. I showed them this clip. I asked the students the critique Cady's reasoning: "...if a limit never approaches anything..." How do we know this limit never approaches anything? Hint: it's all about the denominator. The complicated numerator is just there to intimidate you.
