CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Cady (Lindsay Lohan) admits to writing the burn book" and makes amends with Regina (Rachel McAdams) and Miss Norbury ("Tina Fey).

FILM DESCRIPTION:
Tina Fey from Saturday Night Live wrote and appears in this comedy about the alternately funny and terrifying pecking order among teenage girls. Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) is a 15-year-old girl who has spent most of her life in Africa, where she was home-schooled by her zoologist parents. When her family relocates to the United States, Cady finds herself attending a high school in suburban Illinois, where she gets a crash course in the various sub-strata of the student body: the jocks, the cheerleaders, the stoners, the "cool" kids, and so on. Much to her surprise, Cady finds herself embraced by a clique of rich and popular girls known to outsiders as "the Plastics," led by Regina George (Rachel McAdams), Gretchen Weiners (Lacey Chabert), and Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried). While Cady is grateful for her new friends, it doesn't take long for her to realize how manipulative they can be, and she soon discovers she's violated an unwritten law when she goes out on a date with Aaron (Jonathan Bennett), who is charming, good looking...and Regina's former boyfriend. It isn't long before Regina and her pals are on the warpath, and Cady must face a level of vengeful behavior for which years in the jungle never prepared her. Joining Tina Fey in the supporting cast are fellow SNL players Amy Poehler, Ana Gasteyer, and Tim Meadows. The screenplay for Mean Girls was based in part on Queen Bees and Wannabes: Helping Your Daughter Survive Cliques, Gossip, Boyfriends and Other Realities of Adolescence, a book by professional youth counselor Rosalind Wiseman.

I always hated how she admitted that she wrote that book when she only wrote like 1 thing in it, it's not fair how only she got in the trouble but oh well, atleast the movie has happy ending

Love the part that Tina said "Oh hi! Did you wanna buy some drugs?" LOL

00:11 Aaron does have a point. Regina and her "friends" were trying to feel better about themselves by slamming on other people

I think it's stupid that Cady didn't tell on the "other" Plastics. They wrote most of it!

She's literally been there for not even a year. How would she know all of those things in the book?

Cady's hair looks amazing in the whole movie😻

Notice how Cady went back to her old way of dressing when she took the blame.

Sometimes, I wish Cady tells the principal that the plastics too wrote the book and not just her. I always thought there's a differences between telling people behind their backs and tell a grown up if somebody did something wrong they shouldn't be doing and you're not the only one.

Was Aaron implying that he knew Regina was the real culprit and deserved to be nearly crippled? And does Mrs. Norbary know that Cady only made up that drug rumor because of their conversation previous in the film. The one where she confronts Cady about failing Math on purpose to get Aaron's attention

I just watched a video that diagnosed Regina with histrionic personality disorder. 0:52 is an excellent piece of evidence. No matter how destructive the nature of the attention, she thrives in being the center of it.

1:09 I gotta say watching the police search my house puts a cherry on top of a fantastic year 😂😂😂😂

This is a great ending. I know its annoying that she admitted to something she didn't do, but it shows the theme of the movie and how responsibility is important. It makes me like Cady so much more. Also, it's heavily implied that most kids knew Regina was behind the burn book, so Norbury and Aaron knew Cady wasn't completely at fault.

I love how Cady confessed. It makes me really like her.
Despite knowing that Aaron and Norbury would hate her forever, she did what was right.

Honestly, this makes no sense sometimes. Cady was new and hardly knew anyone, and how could she have had the old yearbook pictures?

This only happens in movies. No one will come forward and take full responsibility without rattling someone else out.

The thing is if you were to do the same kind of thing that The Plastics did in real life high school, you would probably be expelled or at least temporarily suspended. What The Plastics did is one of the most serious forms of bullying and yes Lindsay Lohan's character contributed a smart part to it but Regina was really the master mind behind it all.

The thing is, everybody is upset over her taking the fault of writing the whole book, but she's actually being the most mature. She's not blaming anybody and is taking the blame for something that she was apart of
