I love and have watched all your talks. After years of working indoors under artificial light, I now make a point to spend as much time as possible outside!

Max, Jack talks a lot about cold thermogenesis. So this is a mechanism that compensates for high latitude skin type issues and its ability to make or preserve melatoinin as skin pigmentation. I live in Finland, and am the only person typically in the public saunas we have here, that has tan lines. I expose myself to the cold naked and do seasonal ice swimming. I do not get sunburned ever no matter how long I stay under our long but mild summer sun exposure. These cancel the negative effectives and compensate for the positive ones. Exposed skin even in winter is my point. Seed oils?? probably matter but my experiment is ruined as I did both and grounding.

Interesting, I started giving my dog melatonin when it had epileptic seizures every week. Now he sleeps better at night, less restlessness and best of all no seizures so far. I will have him outside like 3 hour every day . Greetings from Norway

Very interesting I am wondering if the light by the seaside would be reflected near infrared as well. This would be from the light hitting the sea and scattering in an ambient way along the shore line. If so, no wonder the seaside is so healthy. Combined with all the positive ions and salt crystals. Amazing.

Great information- can I ask how clouds effect the sunlight- does the red / infrared still get through ? So if you stare at a cloudy sky where the sun is will the retina benefit from the red light -?I understand red travels into the body so surely it can pass through cloud ? So can you get effective red light therapy on cloudy days at any time of the day?( we live in Australia)
