Honda shifters are truly no joke, my S2000 is just as good, if not better, than the 991.2 speedster I drove. They seriously know what they’re doing. Congratulations on the purchase.

It's about time there is a real person who's not afraid to be true to himself.

A breath of fresh air from today's egotistical pretenses out there.

Oh man, I'm going to miss the winter E92 M3 videos/drive therapy. Congratulations on the Civic though.

The fact that you drive such extremely exotic amazing cars and are so excited about this speaks volumes about the Civic SI. - S2000 and Civic SI owner in Medford

Congratulations! Love the new Si. SGP goes well with the black/red interior. Have peace of mind with Honda reliability!

Very happy with my 10th gen si, handles extremely well. Last summer in malibu on stunt road, i was able to follow a Mclaren 765LT going downhill staying two car lengths behind for a majority of the downhill portion. Owner was nice enough to chat at the end of the run and explained he was only pushing at around 7/10th's (while i of course was pushing my car to the max) but was impressed by how my Honda could keep up. He was super cool and gave me a ride along after which was the time of my life and as a young car enthusiast something I will never forget

Nice decision, nothing beats the feeling you get dailying a car where you KNOW every time you turn that key it will start with 0 issues

Sincerely, thank you for this video. Being practical and a car enthusiast seem to be at odds these days. It's refreshing to see someone enjoying everyday cars and appreciating the advancements that have gone into modern vehicles. Also, it's nice to see an enthusiast enjoying front wheel drive. I love all drive trains, but the sentiment is rarely shared by my gearhead brethren. Congrats!

Seems like such a peach of a car. A real driving experience, good on fuel and practical. Can't fault Honda

Nice to see someone own an Si for more than a day without cutting the exhaust off

Honda’s were never about quickness. Most people trash Honda because they don’t rocket from 0 to 60. What they don’t realize is that these are some of the most well-rounded cars available. And most importantly, despite acceleration numbers, they’re fun to drive.

Such a good looking car. This is the first time I’ve ever thought a civic looks cool. Especially with it being a manual. I’m happy Honda hasn’t given MT’s the boot yet.

Cheers to a true car guy who doesn't give 2 shits about what others think! Admirable move and I totally agree. From one //M guy to another 🤙🏾.

There's also a lot of room for improvement which makes it even more exciting to look forward to in the future.

I see why you dumped the bmw and got something more reliable and newer as a daily driver, but with your driving style, I am absolutely shocked that you chose a civic si over some of the other newer sports cars. Regardless, I am glad to see content on this car as it really adds that variety to your fleet!

As a former 6th Camaro ZL1 owner to a FK8 Civic Type R owner: I approve. Fantastic choice and I think having the more reliable and easy to own (a luxury in of itself) car will be a more enjoyable car, and with a great driving experience!

Thats awesome that you can still find this much joy in driving a Honda Civic Si after all the amazing cars you have driven on this channel.

Welcome to the family. I’ve been driving Si Hondas since I turned 16 in 1995 and don’t plan to stop anytime soon.

I’m in the exact same boat and have been thinking about offloading my BMW for this very same car. I miss the manual experience and could do without the expensive repairs of a 150K plus German vehicle. It’s been a fun experience, but it may be time to move on to less expensive and time consuming pastures. Good choice! 👍🏾

My 8th gen SI was one of my favorite cars hands down. It was so much fun to rev it to 9000 rpms. Congrats on your new purchase.
