What's up guys?

I have been using the Samsung S22 for about 6 months now. And if you are in the market for a compact phone, this can be a great option especially now that it's available for around Rs 50K in India. But, should you really buy it for that price or are there any alternatives? Watch the video to find out as I break down how the S22 has aged including the performance, camera and battery life.

I use a lot of mobile data in my S22 . It's almost always on but I have not experienced any battery drain issue at all. It lasts full one day . I don't use google maps though

Battery life you will have to compromise for the great compact & in-hand feel of a phone of this size... I am using my S10e for 3.5 yrs and yes recently you need to charge the phone twice for a full day but the compact feel (actual feel of a mobile phone) and proper one-hand usage is unmatched... And i love the One UI... It is the most functional & bug free UI for Android... Only thing it could looked a bit more classier like OnePlus UI...

S22 isn't bad at all. It can last a day & when I'm not using it that much, it could last up to 1.5 days which is okay for me. I mainly use it for calls, texts, social media and emails.

One thing i would really like to point out is that with the release of one ui 5.0 stable version, the battery performance of the S22 plus has immensly improved. With light to moderate usage you can easily go upto 9 hours !!! With moderate gaming and heavy gaming i am approximately getting upto 6 hrs.
Absolutely insane numbers !!

Bought SS2+ after trading my iPhone 12 in Samsung upgrade program during the festive sale and absolutely happy with that decision. Brilliant 1080p display

Bought the white S22+ instead of regular S22 this sale just because of the battery life. Switching from OnePlus's "OxygenOS", this feels like a dream, especially because of the in hand feel and with the customizations available on OneUi.

Just imagine S22 had launched with SD 8 gen+1 ( 8gen1 has thermal issues)
It would have best battery life in that segment.
I hope Samsung will fix thermals in s23 with 8 gen 2

If the battery problem could only be solved by making the phone a little thicker, i think that would have been just fine. Just got mine and so far im enjoying using it. Been playing games using both the Bluetooth and WiFi hotspot for my laptop and had little in the way of issues. Lets hope it lasted as long as my galaxy s8 which i got back in 2018 and still works.

Hi bro, hope you doing well .
Actually s22 have descent battery life..
In my opinion the problem is you are using android car play in car which also charges your phone alternatively
bcoz, car charging unit doesn't provide a proper voltage( 5w )
And also it have some voltage fluctuations in charging
That only affected your battery life,
And heating issues in mobile phone...
Low voltage charging should be used in emergency situation only...

Even s22 plus also can cause same battery wear and tear if we are using android car play in car...

The only problem in android is..it will not show battery health like apple iphone...

Recently my friend purchased a brand new apple 12 pro, he would travel all days to his clinic, he used apple car play in his car daily....
His battery percentage came down to 86%within 1 year...

Now tell me where is the problem??

1 year before i bought samsung galaxy note 9(which have better battery)which i used in my car for charging after 1 year that affected my battery life too and while in hardware acceleration the charge keep decreased by 2 percent when using heavy apps....

In Here the real problem is how we use our phone in our daily life ..
Charging in 25w charger provided by samsung doesn't affect your battery life...

Thankyou sir....

i think it would be valuable for some users...
Once again thank you..
Who are reading this comment upto this end😂😂😁

Hope this helps✌️✌️✌️

Got this for 38k, a Solid case for 1.5k, a MagSafe conversion kit 0.8k and a wireless MagSafe compatible powerbank for 4k. About 45k... Took a trip to Goa, and the phone lasted for 15 hours with ample camera usage (860 odd photos in 3 days), navigation and dual SIM dual data connection. The powerbank also helped in acting like a handle for ergonomics.
All this in early October heat and Sun. Couldn't complain even if I wanted to, because of the camera and the size.

The battery life really isn't that bad with normal usage. I get close to 7 hrs sot which isn't that bad. I don't mind charging once a day.

I’m living in UK and i upgraded my contract with three mobile and get this S22 at a good price. 30£ upfront + 30£ monthly for unlimited data and minutes. Also i get 150£ cashback from Samsung. So 30£ + 24 x 30£ = 750£. Normal price for unlimited it’s 20£ so 20£ x 24 months = 480£. So 750£ - 480£ - 150£ = 120£ the price of the phone. For this price i get the best deal ever, hope arrives before Christmas because it’s a present for my mom. I hope she don’t see this comment. 😂😂

I've also been using s22 for 5 months now, the battery is not at all bad as people tend to make it.

I use the same phone been using it for over 6 months now. I haven't really faced Any heating issues apart from when I play games. The only con I feel about the device is the battery. It's not the best but it'll give you like 5 hours SOT.

somehow my s22 with the exynos processor doesn't has a single of your problems, even the battery is pretty good, did some optimisations and i can easily get 5+ hours screen on time and 12 hours screen off time and still have some battery left, and yes, it was my daily phone for like 5 months from now. Maybe it's because of the exynos processor, but i'm still very happy with my phone.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series has a serious design flaw. Its interiors get stressed whenever pressure, altitude & temperature change even a little bit, especially in cold weather or in A/c rooms.

As a result, both the speakers start crackling & distorting whenever we play any multimedia or any notification sound. There could also be other underlying problems that would occur due to these frequent physical changes inside the phone.

Is there anyone else here who has faced similar issue or maybe someone from Samsung, who could spread some light on their company's yet another major blunder here?
Or maybe someone who would be willing to take action against Samsung's negligence, or at least call them out for their large-scale botch?

It's been only a month since I've purchased my device, and I started noticing sound crackling & distortion in speakers within the 1st week itself. When I contacted a Samsung executive, he advised that this could be a software bug, so I formatted it and the issue didn't occur for another week. Later, the problem not only returned, but it started happening more frequently (initially, it would only happen once a day and then, it would go away after a reboot or after removing the sim card tray). The Samsung executives are now suggesting that I should leave my month-old flagship phone with them for a few days or weeks, and they would return it to me after opening it and replacing some components. I mean, obviously, that's what a user should expect after buying a flagship device in 2022 from a Brand like Samsung, isn't it?

I have been researching this problem on the internet, and there are thousands of real user reviews & complaints regarding this issue across the globe. Still, unfortunately, Samsung has not yet acknowledged this flaw, as this would be a huge blowback to their brand's image after the battery explosion embarrassment. Honestly, it's an utter disappointment when you purchase a flagship phone, worth INR 1 Lac/ USD800, and there has been such a major failure in its R&D and pre-release technical testing.
This is my 2nd Galaxy device ever, and in my personal experience, Samsung devices in 2022 continue to be unpolished beta versions of some random Chinese phone brand. Even companies like LG, Huawei, Pocco, Xiaomi, etc. have done better homework before selling a phone under their "flagship" banners. And at this point, comparing Samsung with Apple or OnePlus would be unfortunate at best.

Why are your batteries draining fast? This is my phone for almost 2 years now, and my phone's battery can last from morning till night, even the following day. The phone can learn your usage patterns.
