Samsung's S22 is a boxier spec bump of an already great phone. With 1 concern.

Saved me an hour of watching the S22 launch event from Samsung

I would love to see how these phones' batteries would do in a normal day; like how long they would last - realistically speaking.

That design is lowkey really good. I like how minimal and yet distinct it is, and it appears Samsung is finding an identity that, with its flagships, it much needed.

How come SD cards are no longer a thing? That's one of the features I loved about samsung over apple for a long time, sad to see they're also moving away from that:-(

I was stuck between clicking MKBHDs video and Mrwhoosetheboss as their notification dropped at exactly the same time. I just love these guys.

Samsung: "Welc..."

Marques: "So I've had the Samsung Galaxy S22 for about a year now. Here are my thoughts..."

I use the zoom on the camera a lot. Has the zoom improved at all from the S21 Ultra?

I really like this year's S22 line up including the Ultra. Can't wait to see more in depth testing to make sure if I want to upgrade from my Note 20 Ultra.

Would love to see how the S22 (non plus) performs against the S21 (FE).

Curious to know how these compare to the S20/S20+. Focus is often on improvements from one gen to the next (understandable) but always wonder if there are large leaps forward over a couple years.

1:44 how is the display "basically the same"? the pixel density is higher, brightness is wayyy higher, it can flick down to 10hz, and the bezels are way slimmer too

I consider to buy this maybe in 2 out 3 years when it's cheaper and my OnePlus 5T becomes less usable (if it ever does), but in Germany we get the exynos variant. How good have the experiences been over the past years? I know it's not good for rooting but unfortunately rooting Samsung phones is not a good idea anyways...

I loved the smaller s22. It's just the right size for me!

I would've definitely went for it if I hadn't bought pixel 4a few months back.

Awesome, i would like to see a comparison between last generation models and these new ones on battery life, cellular and wifi connection quality, performance, heating issues because the S21 tends to get hot when gaming and camera comparisons.

2:15 Although it's not LTPO, if the display really could switch between 10 - 120Hz, it will contribute to a much better battery life. Especially for the S22 vanilla version.
Please test it out on the review video of the units!

How is the Bluetooth connection on the s22. My s10 sometimes doesn't like to connect to some cars or auto devices. Takes ages to try connect

I'm a Samsung guy, and have had the Galaxy line since the S4. (S9 being my favourite all time) Right now I have the S20, and when buying it a couple of years ago, I debated on getting the plus. I ultimately didn't, and felt it might be a little too big. But now with the shrinking sizes, I wonder if the plus is the better option? Would love to hear more of a direct comparison between the two to see where the 200 bucks is going. Also super interested in the battery changes and how that affects performance and longevity.

As each year goes by, I keep seeing no reason to upgrade to my current phone to the newest model. Each successor seems like the jump in design/tech is so marginal that it's not worth the $. Maybe I'm getting old (28) but I think there's better ways to spend money after realizing these marginal upgrades and coming to terms with what a phone is 99% of the time used for (social media, browsing, maps, light gaming).

So what purpose does the glass back serve? Why is it viewed as an upgrade. It's less derable and more prone to cracks

Does the 50 MP camera always bin to 12.5 MP or is there an option to get full res if you want like in good lighting?
