Im not over the SD card loss either.
Im not gonna stop using my old S9 until the day i either break the screen, or it just dies on its own. Such a good phone and i think it still has at least a year of life left in it.

I have the 22ultra and I absolutely love it, the screen is awesome, the camera works great, gaming on this thing is fantastic. The stylus is super useful for games and with a good charger the battery lasts quite well for what I'm putting it through.

The aforementioned "Jelly Effect" when scrolling is the new android 12 scrolling, this is on all android 12 devices from the Pixels to the Oppos to the Samsungs of the world. Love the vid! Keep it up!!

I have a S10 and Samsung still pushed an update for OneUI 4 recently. Pretty happy with it.

Originally, I wasn't going to replace my Note 9 for anything because it runs pretty perfect still. But recently my aux and charging ports have become worn and very loose. So, I'm excited that this new Ultra feels like a worthy enough successor. Already placed my pre-order for the black 500gb model. Excited to see it in hopefully 10 days.

That ending hit a little too close to home! I've loved OnePlus for a while! A number of my friends had the OnePlus 1, I had the OnePlus 3, 5, 6, and 7pro (still currently using the 7 pro), but I'm definitely done with them after this phone.

We really need a resurgence of no frills but features people actually care about phones+latest SOC at reasonable prices. You know, the role that the OnePlus One filled originally. It wasn't a perfect phone(no sd, replacable battery), but it did a lot of the things I cared about and cut costs where it made sense. OnePlus has really fallen far since then.

Had my S22-ultra 512 for a couple of months and it is a perfect device for this ol timer. Cannot fault any part of it with 512 Gb storage . It's actually quicker than all but my last 3 gaming pc's so there is no waiting when you want to do anything. Expensive, yes, but very gratifying in it's performance and attributes. Good review too Linus :)

11:55 I believe that new stretch effect while scrolling is a Android 12 feature even in AOSP. It's a global scrolling effect so it applies to most scrollable menus.

Got an update to my Note 20 Ultra recently. The S Pen actually got much faster, so a lot of that bump may have been software

After watching a bunch of videos on the ultra (yes, I've pre-ordered), I'm starting to think that Samsung just used a design they already had for a possible S21 Note, but jumped the last version for the reasons we already know (didn't make sense at the time).

And NOW, they know that people won't stand for the detached Spen, so they brought it back under the same design they had stashed in a dust drawer somewhere and slaped the Ultra name. Hehehe

I'm SO with you on the SD card slots, and not even for the sake of less expensive storage expansion. Except for my phone, every device I own takes SD cards. For me they're the easiest way to move around photos and other data, and keep them safe. Even though I'm not "in the Apple ecosystem" (never owned any Apple product other than a phone) the hassle of switching from iPhone is not worth it to me unless I can get an *easily accessible* SD card slot, along with a camera as good as any iPhone and other features I want.

They need to stick those features (camera, s-pen silo) to the Z Fold 4 to REALLY have THE ultimate phone.

I got S22 (regular one), and it's compact king. The size is incredibly comfortable.

My Galaxy A22 has dual sim support, one of them acts as SD reader and headphone jack.

It's incredible that mid-range phones, even from the same manufacturer, come with more things than premium ones.
