Was 400lbs. Lost over 220lbs. Battleropes were a big part of the program I created for myself.

What length and size of rope is good to start out with? Do you need to buy two ropes. How are the ropes anchored? Do you need an anchor?

I'm recovering from foot surgery. I do battle ropes for cardio. I go 45 seconds then rest 15 seconds each minute for 45 minutes. Been doing this for 3 weeks and feel much stronger. I'm 67 years old and many folks have told me my shoulders look bigger.

I started doing battle ropes at my gym, and I love it. I seem to be the only person who enjoys using them. Who cares I enjoy all the benefits of it

Tried the battle ropes for the first time today. And it was F**KING FUN. This was on my full-body 5x5 day of all days. But when I saw the battle ropes in the outdoor part of the gym, I knew I had to give those a shot. And now I really can’t wait for a cardio session at the gym doing battle ropes.

I just started doing battle ropes at the gym this morning. I was doing pushups at the functional training section of the gym and I saw the ropes and decided to start doing them 2 or 3 times a week. At a different gym I used to be in a boot camp fitness where we did them about once a month but it was never regular. I am going to use the battle rope routine to help me be fit like a UFC / MMA fighter as I joined a Wing Chun, Jeet Kune Do, Kali martial arts school last Autumn.

Thanks to the battle rope and healthy eating, I have a well-proportioned body and good muscles compared to what I was before, so far, with a good result of 13 weeks.

Does the 10 minutes have to be continuous with no break?
