Important topic! That's why it's important to have a hobby. We doctors tend to neglect ourselves

I’m in nursing school and I noticed I began feeling some of these symptoms especially depersonalization, idk how to pull myself out of this but all I tell my self is that this will pass and what I’m feeling is just temporary

I just dropped an entire semester today bc everything boiled over. 2 A’s and one B gone. I’m generally an all A/B student and lately I cant focus, i work as an EMT and full time student for biology and, when i move to CSU, marine science (soon to be full time both when i go back i go back to school) but lately its gotten so difficult for me to focus on school. Or anything. Even when im driving with a pt i cant focus i just feel zoned out i forgot where i was going mid drive last night.

I get waves of anxiety while working or out and about in public. I never want to leave my house if its not for work or to see my gf. This just sucks.

I was part time student until this last semester bc of the reserves and work taking too much and the reserves causing me to miss classes. So i just feel like ive taken so damn long and then switching from nursing to biology and being set back on top of that. Just so tired of all of this tbh

It's shocking that they weren't identified as burnt out by that inventory.

Hvac technician of 10 years here, often getting 4 days off a month and on call half the time.. every single word of this resonates with me. The scariest part is “they couldn’t wait to get back to work”.. like some sick addiction. I walked out last week and I’m having all the symptoms of a nervous breakdown
