How to Spot the Early Signs of Tooth Decay - Colgate®

Показать описание
Tooth decay is the most common chronic disease in Australia and is something that should be monitored regularly at home.

First brush your teeth, then lift your lip to look at your teeth or those of your child.

The first sign of tooth decay appears as a white spot or patch along the gum line, or where teeth touch each other. Surface breakup of the white patch or existence of cavities indicates later stages of decay.

A dark shadow and discolouration on teeth can also indicate tooth decay.

Note that not all white spots are due to decay, so please seek a dental professional’s opinion if you are concerned.
