How to spot signs of heroin addiction

FOX 10's Mia Garcia spoke with Shane from Not My Kid on heroin abuse amongst children. This part of the interview wasn't able to make the air, but it provided some valuable tips on how to identify heroin addiction in children so we wanted to make it available.

The main thing you will notice is a giant boost in the persons confidence. Heroin addicts ain’t addicted to the heroin it’s the feeling that heroin gives them. It’s so hard to explain with words.

Another sign not mentioned here is excessive sweating

As a former hardcore heroin user, here are obvious signs:

-sunglasses indoors all the time
-chain smoking
-really nihilistic outlook
-constantly listening to New Order or the Cure
-weight loss
-sleeping anywhere
-oddly poetic

They should have never taken away prescription pain killers! Don’t get me wrong I don’t want to see anyone hooked on drugs and I feel for the addicts. But personally I’d much rather see an addict that’s addicted to a drug made in a medical lab that goes through testing and is served in regulated amounts and has a clear list of ingredients that their prescribed from a actual doctor! Then someone using heroin with god knows what in it and it’s 500x stronger than the prescription medication. Like when they cracked down on perscription pills all they really did was create more heroin addicts. Idk why they assumed that if they took away the access to the pills all the people hooked on them were just gonna have some sort of epiphany and get clean. It doesn’t work like that all it really did was take people who were taking a prescribed medication that they could get at the safety of a doctors office and push them out onto the streets to score dope. That crack down they did ruined more lives than it saved.

here the actual signs: pinpoint pupils in the dark, itchy body, being cold, stomach pain, having spoons, lighters, filters, aluminium foil, stealing money.

I think my mom is using this. My niece said she seen my mom tie her arm up and putting a needle in her arm. She said she went right to sleep
