Many pastors and teachers try to use Romans 13 to justify government restrictions in church and cancellation of church all together! This video is about the role of the government in the life of the Christian and the Christian church. In particular this video looks at Romans 13:1-7 in context and discusses the true meaning of the biblical text. To what extent do Christians have to obey the government? Do we have to take bodily modifications? Do we have to obey mandates preventing us from gathering for worship? Working? Providing for our families? What does God require from us in these troubling times? Well, we need to realise that all authority comes from God and God has defined and limited the scope of governmental authority to the punishment of evil as defined by God. God has given us human rights and he did this when he gave us the law of God. The right to life, the right to earn a living, the right to a fair trial, the right to fidelity in marriage, the right to honour out mother and father. All these rights come from God. Churches do not need to have a 501c3 in order to operate. They do not need to pay taxes on the money they pool together because they have already paid taxes on it.

What hurts so much is having children who profess to be believers, with their misguided interpretation of Scripture. My husband and I are not vaxxed. We both had Covid, as did our teenaged son, and have natural immunity, but our adult kids, the ones with the grandchildren, have cut us off. To top it off, they're vaxxed, so why should they be afraid of us if their jab works so wonderfully? Heartbroken....💔

The government has forbidden me from visiting my mother in nursing home. I will try to sneak in, because the alternative is unthinkable and heartbreaking. I do not want to take the medical experiment! She has dementia and still knows who I am and we have somewhat of a conversation. Very sad.

My friend it's not an alternative way of reading Romans 13... that is the ONLY WAY to see Romans 13. It is very clear, it is absolute. People need to read their Bibles. They also need to study history and see how this chapter has been misused in the past.... it is incumbent upon Believers to KNOW the WORD of God!!

I am neither for or against any vaccine, we can debate the merits of that alone however, if a person believes that taking such violates their conscience then no one has a right too force them to do so and that is the problem, you are right about that. .
