"World's largest navy" only because most countries don't count every canoe with a machine gun as a warship.

Depicting Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar as lost territories of China during the century of humiliation is just wrong. They were independent states with relationships with China, but not China territories.

So Chinese soldiers at UN peace keeping in Sudan were doing nothing

Dont underestimate your foes. Its better to treat them as a serious military force and be ready for them rather than to look down on them and get caught by surprise.

When the Chinese soldiers ran away from the crisis zone, the Indian soldiers deployed as part of UN troops saved the situation and saved many lives there.

The same thing happened recently near Arabian Peninsula seas. When the pirates and Huthis attacked the Ships passing through, the Chinese Millitary ship was the closest but they turned off the communication and ran away quitely. Later the Indian Navy Ship reached the place and saved all the Crew members and arrested all Hijackers/Pirates.

The Chinese are truely Paper Dragon. Only for show.

they do NOT have the LARGEST Navy, they have the most NUMEROUS Navy. Get it straight. Calling every decent glorified fishing boat in your waters a "military vessel" does not a Navy make.

An African refugee once said, 'We'd rather have 20 Filipinos or Indians guarding us than 500 Chinese UN peacekeepers.

I was dating a south Sudanese girl thats family fled during the split, and we broke up when she said she was going back to South Sudan as an aid worker just before this conflict kicked off, I told her not to go, she went I broke up with her, but I remember a phone call and I could hear the gun fire in the back ground and she told me she was on the floor with a load of children hoping they could run for shelter.

This was the last I heard from her, I managed to track her down, she "was" in America the last I seen, I was glad the war didn't get her, but it was bad over there and the Chinese made it a lot worse

I'm sick of hearing China has the "world's largest Navy" when the vast majority of their ships are small at 710+ tons each (on average) that are unable to operate very far from the Chinese coast (compare that to a USCG Cutter that's 4, 700 tons each). It's true China has the largest number of ships with 1, 015 between both the PLA Navy and the Chinese Coast Guard when compared to the U.S. Navy’s 364 ships. However, the PLA Navy's most numerous ships are Corvettes that weigh in below 2, 000 tons each (also less that half the size of a USCG Cutter) plus, what the vast majority of people don't realize, more than 25% of the PLA Navy (536, 700 tons) consists of unarmed to lightly armed amphibious landing ships. In all, China has just over 2 million tons of ships total and the US Navy runs with nearly 3.6 million tons. As of June 2024, just looking at Blue water combatants (i.e. only carriers, frigates, destroyers, cruisers, tactical submarines, and I'll be nice and count China's Corvettes) has China at just over 971, 051 blue water combat tons while the US has 2, 388, 078 tons of larger and more advanced warships. It's not even close. I'll give China an A for effort, but that's about it.

It’s more than that their only pseudo combat operation was a failure, it’s also the fact that the last major combat their military experienced was a border conflict with. Kerman in the late 70’s. And, despite numerical superiority and slight tech superiority the Vietnamese were able to hold back the Chinese forces and end the war in a stalemate. PLA has no combat veterans with any relevant experience

I don't know if it's still the case or if it's being addressed, but I remember reading a report a couple years back that said that up to 25% of Chinese military training is still focused on political indoctrination. Considering some of Xi's comments concerning the importance of a strong connection between the CCP and the PLA, I have a feeling that isn't likely to change and will forever be a detriment to the PLA. The same report also mentioned that as the standard of living has improved in China, their people have gotten physically bigger and that has led to issues with some chinese equipment becoming too small for the more robust soldiers. The article specifically mentioned tanks and that soldiers were facing mobility issues inside the older Chinese tanks as they were designed for physically smaller people.

The "Century of Humiliation" also included the Taiping Revolution (1850-1864) - one of the costliest wars in human history, in which China fought a civil war with itself. Fighting, purges, plagues and famines related to that war killed an estimated 20 - 30 million Chinese people, leaving the empire both beholden to foreign "allies" of the Empire (who helped fight the "rebels" then demanded payment in territory and debt) and weakened against future wars.

No wonder India saved UNMISS, India is the one of the largest provider of Armed and Police force for UNPKF also it has long history of fighting war and Insurgency..
In doklam crisis PLA was so badly beaten they even denied to disclose no of casualties to the public.
