You missed out a big reason! A significant proportion of Chinese soldiers were born under the 'one child' policy, so they grew up without siblings and cousins who might toughen them up a bit, and their parents (having no other children to care for) treated them like little princes and spoilt them. How well is China's army of little princes going to stand up to the horrors and stresses of what the Russian infantry goes through in Ukraine?

China lost my respect with all the War with Taiwan talk. China completely surrounded Taiwan many times and went back home to cry. China's military picks on fishing vessels instead.

No Chinese parent with only one child (most likely a son) would send that son to war for a government that considers them meat for the grinder.
Even when an American soldier does not believe in a war, he would fight as a professional soldier and quit the army after fulfilling his contract. While fighting, he knows he can count on the military to provide him with what he needs in terms of equipment and if they don't a free press will raise hell on his behalf.
