I truly cannot describe how grateful I am that I started this channel back in 2017!! 🥹 from meeting so many incredible likeminded people, to becoming financially independent so young, to overcoming the effects of bullying by OWNING the fact that I loved studying, to having a creative outlet to capture my life as I grow up, it was truly the best choice I ever made!!

If any part of you is considering starting a channel, I can’t recommend enough to just START. 🌟 you never know where it could take you.

And like I said in the video, “Everything in the world has already been said, but it’s never been said by you.”

Pleaseee comment below your big dreams for your channels so we can support you!! 🦋 lots of love x

"if youre actually quieter and less expressive ..then BE QUIETER AND LESS EXPRESSIVE" you have no idea how much this means from a quiet girl who's always been told that being quiet is a bad thing. ily jade

For anyone still on the fence, I finally started my channel 3 months ago. All I'm doing is recording my writing sessions and I already have nearly 500 followers. Just start: you'll get better at editing and thumbnails and everything else as you go! :)

I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Fame- ster, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).

I've been telling myself that it's too late to start a YouTube channel for literal YEARS but finally convinced myself to give it a try and post the first video today. right after I hit publish, I saw your new video pop up in my feed. I hope it's a sign!! good luck everyone!

Those are some really valuable tips and I wish I have watched this video before... It would have saved me so much time I used on trial-and-error. But I guess it's never too late to learn and improve as content creator (Recently, I also discovered that using a bit of Fame- ster helped me to level up my channel even more). Keep up the great work, I can't wait for your next video.

I just came on to Youtube, got distracted by the 'your videos' button so sat for an hour watching my old private videos. I sat thinking aww they weren't as cringe as I remember and I was actually impressed by the creativity. Really got me thinking. Then I clicked on subscriptions to see this video! Everything happens for a reason- Thank you💗

I just posted my first video YESTERDAY!! This was so helpful and so informative. I feel really awkward in front of a camera, but I LOVE the editing process. As I've been working on more videos, I've found it helps to embrace that awkwardness and edit in a way that I find funny and enjoyable. I love the tip about just getting comfortable talking to a camera without worrying about posting it. Thanks for all the tips!

I'm more of a Twitch + Instagram than a Youtube person, but I found your video as inspiring as always. And I wholeheartedly agree with all of your point. Just do it, and just be yourself. Everyone has a message worth sharing.

i’ve always wanted to start a channel to share my simple life philosophies, and expression and soul through my dancing and singing!! it could be fun doing this when i go to uni and start living alone, it would feel less lonely!! love you jade💓💗💗💘

I think I’ve watched a dozen of these “make a YouTube channel” videos and this one was the most inspiring. I love how you merge the practicality of the endeavor with the heartfelt encouragement.

I started my channel to discover & share my creative voice after feeling like I lost it in adulthood. Mixing in the delulu with the discipline is how I will keep moving forward. 💗🙏🏾✨

I have been thinking about starting a youtube channel ever since i became a yoga teacher and finding my passion in teaching classes in person, but have been hesitant all this time… for a few weeks i scavenged internet marketplaces for a used camera/mic, found a cheap one which is on its way to me right now. So this video comes at just the right time. You spoke from my heart, especially about the fear of what others might think, which is so real… thank you for being inspiring, for sharing valuable knowledge, for being you. Much love

I was thinking about this lately, so as my perfectionist self that wanted to do everything right from the beginning I started looking at youtube channels of people that inspire me (ofc you!) and I thought “how hasn’t Jade made a video on this yet?” and it’s crazy that sometimes it feels like you can read my mind 😂
I’ll take this as a sign from the Universe because it really is wild that this video was published right now, in the exact very moment i was thinking about creating a youtube channel and following my creativity that often gets too hindered by so many fears!
Thanks Jade, I’m forever grateful for you 🌈✨

I am planning to start a study channel because I have a genuine passion for learning and want to share that with others. I will begin planning the channel on September 1, and the first video will be released on the first day of school. Thanks for your support in this endeavor. Despite a previous attempt at making a channel when I was younger that didn't go as planned, I am now ready to take on this new challenge with confidence and determination.

Your own authentic voice is so inspiring. From a 56-year-old woman on the fence about starting a channel, thank you for giving me that push. 😊
