I’ve been on YouTube for 1 year now and happy with the progress! I have under 1k subscribers but still had my first paid YouTube collaboration with a major brand. Anything is possible nowadays!

I started youtube in the year 2018 I had 200 subs back then but I stopped uploading videos since I do not have enough time to create content. However, God is good because I was able to buy a new phone with quality camera, so I decided to get back on youtube and uploaded videos again. I am very happy that I can finally share my life stories in yt and be able to connect with you guys! 🫶 I hope all new youtuber like me will have their time soon . As of now let’s enjoy making videos and trust the process ❤ God bless everyone! Lots of love 🥰

Trying to get to 2000 subscribers this year! I’m so glad that it’s not to late to grow on YouTube! I love YouTube and this year I’m taking the risk and growing my channel! I’d love to connect with other small creators!

I'm still going! ❤ 😊 1 of my videos just got alot of views! I'm really happy about it. I do a makeup and health channel so alot of competition. I'm still small but I do enjoy creating long form content. ~x~

I already have a YouTube channel, but this video has so many great points especially the community factor. This year I made a promise to myself to go all in and stick to an uploading schedule. My goal this year is to produce excellent content and get monetized. What are your thoughts on shorts? Do you find they help grow your channel?

I stared my channel last year and it has been so worth it. Things on instagram are so volatile that I started with just crossposting my reels to shorts but now do long-form art content as well on YouTube. I am finding I enjoy creating YouTube content more these days because it lets me do projects that just don't work in 90 seconds or less.

So I clicked on this video despite already having a YouTube channel that’s been around for a while. But I still found tremendous value from it because I needed to renew my sense of commitment to my YouTube channel this year.

I’ve been flip-flopping back-and-forth between creating and focusing on short form content and committing to my YouTube channel. At times I’ve tried to commit full force to both, and it just doesn’t work. This year… I’ve decided to go all in on YouTube… And maybe once I go full-time with that I can focus on Instagram too.

But for now, I love the Evergreen capabilities of YouTube… And the points that you mentioned like having a more committed audience. It’s tough not to focus on all the shiny objects at once… But I think that’s the key to real growth!

Thank you so much for this video! I started my channel several months ago after wanting to for years. I recently switched from doing personal development videos to ASMR and the community is amazing! I only made the switch a month ago but I already have such a nice little community! For anyone out there who has been thinking about starting a channel, just do it!

8 months into my YouTube journey, I am so thankful for your content ❤it has helped me a lot to look at YouTube journey in a healthy and positive way and understand the logistics of success in YouTube. I have 549 subscribers so far ❤️ but equally important thing is I am enjoying creating videos and I am happy with the ride, so thank you again ❤

I have a channel with 8k subcribers, but i wasn't pleased with the whole thing.Low engagement. Everything.
I could post a video and it'll take probably 2 weeks to get to 300 views. Plus, i was inconsistent.

Ps: i gained about 4k subscribers from shorts. I think this also contributed to it.

I decided to create a new Channel, last year November. Best decison. I worked on my thumbnail, titling and just eveeyting. And i get so many views...and my videos convert viewers to subscribers.

The issue with new YouTubers, mostly, is thumbnail. The content itself can be filled with lots of valuable contents, but the thumbnail isn't that appealing, thereby making people scroll past it.

I’ve been debating opening a YouTube for YEARS and your video just motivated me to have this as THE ONE resolution I need to accomplish for 2024.

I found you on YouTube and now loyally follow you on IG and TT as well so the community building reason is point on

Totally agree about the community factor! It's absolutely been the case for me - Youtube feels like a real place for community compared to the other platforms 😊

I still want to do a U2. I just don't know what to do it about. I just cannot work because of my illness. I had cancer real bad and I'm still recovering from it and all my money mostly goes to it. So I need to make more money to finish paying it off or get my house bills caught up my husband's real sick with COPD so I was just trying to think of something I could do from my house. Not sure what it is so I'm still looking for ideas. I was thinking of doing something the days after cancer but I'm not sure or I still might think about doing something of living with someone who has COP Day. Don't know if there's anything on there like this still looking but I appreciate all the stuff you put up there because it's making me more want to look to get started

I have been stalling it for 3years and eventually started my channel this year so I can totally relate. I am glad with the small and slow progress and I believe it will eventually pay off in the end. Thanks Katie❤️

Agree on your points on the sense of community and the overall reliability of YouTube - I feel this is a much more "calm" platform compared to the sensory overload and chaos of Instagram (and TikTok, although I've never downloaded the app and never will so I'm basing this on things I've heard and TikToks I've seen uploaded to Instagram). I'm personally aiming for monetization this year, won't be long before I reach my first 1K subscribers and hopefully the 4K watch hours will follow a few months later (slow growth lol but I'm dedicated to making it happen). Thanks for another informative video!
