With nothing more than the Shiny Charm, I managed to find a Shiny Espurr without even noticing that she wasn't *gray* when I threw my Pokemon at her. I just wanted an Espurr. Didn't realize she was *shiny* until I saw the sparkles in battle. They really need to fix the lack of overworld notification for shinies.

Don’t forget that upgrading your lock on will be helpful here between size of the Pokémon and if it has a mark as well so these things will be easier

While it would be nice if there was a sound and/or a animation for the shiny. At least we can quickly check by merking everything with your pokemon on auto attack, since it wont kill shiny pokemon.

How does this work with a Sparkling Power boost from a sandwich? Do they stack or does one override the other? If it’s the latter I don’t see how this is better than getting sparkling power 3 for a specific type unless you just… don’t care about getting a specific shiny

Sidenote it’s quite infuriating that they refuse to add a sound or even a sparkle for shiny Pokémon.

i suggest that when farming for bp forstarter unlocks, item finder upgrades or even just checking outbreaks and raid dens, please use the meal power.

My shiny catches have been pretty good in the dlc so far my first shiny was a seadra and my most recent was milcery from a outbreak.<3 Ngl I honestly did not even know about the food at the cafeteria so that'll be a nice little bonus while I'm running around the academy map!

I really wish synchronize would still work on the field....
