I got super lucky today...I was sad because I had obligations and barely played yesterday (3 hrs) and also couldn't raid or even play/catch at all today until 3:30pm...but I still got 5 shinies just today, and one hundo and 3 shinies yesterday. Got shinies of orgin Dialga, orgin Palkia and altered Palkia, and hundo altered Palkia. I also got 2 Giratina shinies as well. This never happens to me so I was literally shook. Can't help but share my excitement lol.

Another important tip for shiny hunting is to have pokemon storage space, it's been capped at 7300 for awhile but now during Sinnoh event its been perma increased to 7800.
I can happily auto catch again! Yes!
but man...bout sinnoh event I've raided 10+ palkia non of them has spacial rend :( welp... I should have watch more pogotrnr before choosing a path next time

Nice video but, I have to presume shiny pokemon rates are constantly shut off at times when the game has the most players online. There is too much money to be gained from players obsessed with finding shinies. Finding shiny rates just is a waste of time then. By the time word gets out that the rates are turned off 3 hours of your precious playrime has gone by and your burned out to much to play again tomorrow.
Also, I have once had 3 shinies in a row in raids where NOBODY else participating in those raids with me got even one shiny. That leads to the logic that shiny rates can be turned up or down on each individual player. Why? Who can know? All these community events are also littered with useless stat pokemon (especially on Tuedays at 6pm). You have to trade these pokemon to get the good stats to even be possible.
