Maximize benefit of balance exercises by doing THIS

Get MORE out of balance exercises ✅

When you’re walking, you typically encounter various obstacles and distractions in which your body has to react to. You’re likely not just standing and hyper-focusing on an area, like most people do in traditional balance exercises ☝🏽

Get more out of your balance exercises by adding movement and challenging your body to REACT ↔️↕️🔄

My favorite ways to do this are adding arm movements and head movements. Yes, your legs are still stationary but your body is having to react efficiently to keep you upright ☝🏽

⚠️ For Safety: I am doing this in the corner of a wall. This is one of my favorite ways to ensure safety with balance exercises. The point of balance exercises is to challenge your balance so you have to be prepared appropriately. Use support as needed ⚠️

Set a timer for 30-60 seconds and see how these variations go! If they’re really difficult at first ITS OKAY! Balance takes practice 🙌🏼

I hate having poor balance . It crept up on me when my hip became painful .I feel depressed over these changes in my body .I was very active caring for grandchildren throughout the past 10 years, now at 72, I have so many movement challenges and pain. .I love you for all you do to help people like myself ❤

I really needed to see this today. I have had some problems with falling after having 3 spine surgeries and I thought it was because of my surgeries but now I realize it's because of neuropathy. I was feeling anxious and depressed.

I didn't realize until 3 days ago that my neuropathy was causing my balance issues so now I see this and it gives me hope. To have exercises that are safe and can benefit me, I can feel grateful to have these to move forward without falling while building confidence.
Split stance while adding movement and adding light weights.

Brilliant!!

I hate to beat a dead horse but while Aylissa does have the absolute best leg, hip, knee& ankle videos for a senior (66) such as myself, i simply cannot ignore those world class thigh muscles. Just as a human. "Give honor to whom honor is due." Just from one human to another i cannot help but be super impressed. Sure they are beautiful but just imagining the work that has gone into shaping them.... 👏 well done doesn't really cover it. Please believe iwould say it no different if it were one of my daughters or granddaughters.
