Had a stroke nine months ago and I’m starting to watch all the Flint rehab suggestions. Really quite helpful I have paralysis on my right side arm and leg thankfully I retained my speech. That’s what I tell therapist all the time can I help me focus on my core strength and my hip strength and basically all they tell me is to do bridges and butterflies,
These FLINT exercises help me find my muscles.
I also have severe neuropathy in my calves and feet and I’m wondering if that’s a complication that impedes my stroke recovery? I’m wondering if anyone else out there has this feeling of complete pulling down in their neck and shoulders as if a magnet is pulling you down to the ground, I’m told just to take a rest but rest doesn’t help and I can’t get comfortable so that’s not the answer, I am wondering what physiologically could be causing this sensation, Is anyone else feeling this pull On their body?
