Hi guys! This videos discusses how to solve homogeneous differential equations with constant coefficients. If the the right member f(x) of a linear differential equation, higher order, is zero, then it is a homogeneous differential equation. To solve this type of DE we need to find the roots of auxilliary equations derived from the DE itself. We will consider 3 cases for the general form of solutions to this DE when the roots are real and unequal, real and repeated, and complex roots. We will solve several examples for each case.
