Appreciate it, Andrew.
There's one thing Ive also learned from an Irish entrepreneur Gary Fox who shared his approach of reading:
1. In the morning - 30 min of non-fiction, business related books;
2. In the evening - fiction or novels (to shut down a buzzing brain)

a big hurdle is actually finding a book worth reading.

"Don't focus on reading more books, focus on spending more time reading." That was an ah-ha moment for me😊 Thanks Andrew

Doesn't matter how much you consume, what matters is how much you able to digest.

I have at least 25 books I want to read. I have gotten them from Alibris, the shipping is quite often more expensive than the book itself! He is right! When I was in college I found friends who fought for better grades, the rule was reading 100 pages a night (rarely met, but there was a habit to get to the University every night). Now I need to eliminate YouTube from my life. The rewards I got from reading were wonderful! Listen to this man!

I used the planning the habit part for learning to code
I said to myself that I would learn to code something everyday, it doesnt matter how long will it take, at 8pm, and it's been 1 month since i started, and the weird thing is that i planned all of this in my mind, i don't have anything related to this in paper, but it's still working cause i have a commitment, a place and an hour to do the habit, and the environment also helps.

You have inspired and encouraged me with your clear summaries of many of the topics I have listen to and read for years.
When you shared that the connections reinforces the brain processing info was awesome to validate my years of interests.
Also seeing the transformation you have experienced it showed clearly from climbing in the window clearly intense and brilliant but wow look at the focus and how you have grounded and transformed your life.
I am very grateful for you.

Hello and realy good video Andrew. What i found realy helpfull to get the reading routine going for me was the miracle morning and the example in that book that if you read simply 10 pages a day it amounts to 3650 pages a year which amounts to a total of 12-15 books a year without breaking even a sweat. Cause every one can find the time and willpower to read 10 pages. Anyway i hope this example was helpfull. Thank you again Andrew . Keep up the good work . Your helping a lot of people.

Here’s another tip. I’d recommend going to you library and read books that seem interesting off the shelf. If you like the first chapter, borrow it. Libraries are affordable and incentives reading.

If I haven't read in a while, I always get back into the swing of it by reading Game of Thrones or Lord of The Rings. Before I start, I am slow at reading, after my reading speed improves massively. Now when I get to a self help book it is much easier for me

You know that the publisher or author hire people to put 5 star reviews on their Amazon book? I read the 3 star and then 4 star to get the most honest feedback. And, you don't have to buy a book. Go to the library!! That's free. If they don't have the book you want, ask if they will order it.
