Lets say there is another employee named the same Nathan Hale but who is "not participating", then when using the formula, the vlookup formula will match with the first same data, the first Nathan Hale which is participating, so is there any way in which the data cannot be matched with another data which is already matched.

Thanks for the video but here you have typed "1" for column reference as the range only has 1 column, that's something what was incorrect, other than that all good.
