Marks are either red or dark brown in colour. There is no change in texture of skin or depression.
These can be treated with creams containing skin lightening agents such as azleaic acid, kojic acid, alpha arbutin and niacinamide.

▪️Acne scars
When there is loss of skin markings or change in skin texture then it can be a scar. Though tretinoin can help, lasers or microneedling RF gives good results.
Remember that once scar is formed it can never go back to normal skin. We can make scar less visible but it can never look like normal skin. So it’s very important to prevent acne reunions especially if you are prone to develop acne scars.

After consulting to many dermatologist when i didn't got any solution i finally changed once again and that one prescribed me "Adapure" which contains Adapalene and Benzoyl Peroxide, that worked really really good on my acne and "Melapik" for scars or marks, Which consists of Tretinoin, Hydroquinone and Allantoin all together, and i cant explain you how it worked wonder on my skin guys, the scars i wasn't able to get rid of after yearssss and multiple dermatologists, finally i did, but everyone's skin type is different so I'd suggest you to consult to your doctor once before starting them
